As many of you are aware, 2 year old Avery Stitzer has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia.  What many of you may not be aware, is the fact that Avery lives in Lehigh Valley and must travel to St. Christopher's Children's Hospital in Philadelphia for treatment.  While Wendy and Randy, Avery's parents, would do anything for their daughter, the traveling back and forth, along with time missed from work, will begin to take a financial toll on them.  We ask that you donate anything, even if it is $1, which will be given to Wendy and Randy to help them where they see fit, be it to purchase gas for the long commutes or to buy something special for Avery to brighten her up.  Any thing can help and is appreciated.

I will put weekly updates on Avery's condition to keep you all posted.

UPDATE 9/21/08 - Avery now has a staph infection.  Unfortunately the chemo treatment for the Leukemia has depleated Avery's white blood count level so she is having a tough time fighting off this infection.  Please keep her in your prayers.
